1975 attended fifth grade at Wilhelmstraße Holzminden Gymnasium.
June 10th 1984 Graduted and recieved the Abitur

March- July 1989 Civil duty  service pos for the Protestant Student Union of West Germany and West Berlin in Stuttgart

November 11th , 1987 Diploma pre-exam in Physics
WS 1987-88 Studied Philosophy as a second major

January 1991 Joined the Nuclear Solid State Physics group
July 15th, 1992 Diploma thesis : “Electron Spin Resonance Measurements in gold and silver appointed Argon Matrices”
